This notice explains how information is used in the Barangay Flores resident services portal and its contact form.
Information you provide
- Resident accounts: name, username, email, password, contact number, birth and household details, and an uploaded barangay ID. Profiles may also contain a photo, nationality, blood type, place of birth, and parents' names.
- Document requests: document type, purpose, remarks, required personal or business details, and request status.
- Contact messages: first and last name, optional email address, subject, experience rating, message, and your agreement to use that information to respond.
How information is used
Account and request information supports resident verification, document preparation, record tracking, and service updates. Contact form information is used to handle your inquiry or feedback. The email field on the contact form is optional; providing it gives the office a way to reply by email.
Where information is processed
Resident and document information is stored by the portal and used through its record-management features. Contact messages are stored in the portal and delivered directly to the Resident Message inbox for authorized barangay staff. Website hosting and email services process information needed to operate the portal and send account and request updates.
Cookies, browser storage, and other websites
The portal uses session cookies for sign-in, verification codes, form protection, and temporary form data. Your light or dark appearance preference is saved in your browser. Disabling cookies can prevent sign-in and form submission.
Some portal pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Following the Facebook link opens a separate website governed by its own privacy practices.
Storage and account protection
Account passwords are stored as hashes. Contact messages, including the time of your consent, are stored in the portal's records along with account and request information. Contact the barangay office to ask about the retention period for a particular record or to request a review of information held about you.
Your privacy requests
You may ask about the processing of your information, request access or correction, or raise an objection or request erasure or blocking, subject to applicable legal conditions. You may also raise a privacy complaint with the National Privacy Commission. Read its guidance on data subject rights for more information.
